Meet The Artist
This is Koi.
Born and raised in PG County, MD, Koi Brooks is a young visual artist of many styles and mediums. They have explored countless ways to create, from digital realistic portraiture to physical abstract pieces, and even colorful and inclusive children’s books that are loved by many.
The Message.
Though Koi has embraced various art forms, all of their creative bodies of work share one overarching theme of Identity, Awareness, and Inclusion.
Koi's Perspective.
With their artwork being based on their personal life and lived experiences shared by others around them, their ultimate goal is to shine a light on topics such as neurodiversity, blackness, individuality, and what it means to accept and embrace oneself as one uniquely is.
